Boulder Nordic Junior Racing Team is a Nordic ski team for 8-19 year old athletes. The goal of BNJRT is to have fun while learning to ski fast on Nordic skis.
Some members seek high-level competition while others take a more recreational approach. Several skiers have been on the team for five+ years and, over the last two decades, many of them have competed at the national level. Regardless of their level of competition, kids have a lot of fun and develop healthy, life-long skiing skills and an appreciation of the beautiful mountain outdoors. In an effort to keep Nordic skiing affordable for our young athletes, BNJRT fundraises by partnering with BNC for BNC’s annual ski swap, obtaining grant funding for our fleet of team rental skis, and requiring each family to meet a fundraising goal for the season.
All donations will be used to directly support BNJRT’s effort to keep Nordic skiing financially accessible for our community!
