Here’s a note from BNC board member, Henry Gibb, regarding the BNC Community Ski Days.
Hello BNC,
I (Henry) am donning Chris Sachs’ long fast skis to coordinate the BNC Community Skis this year while Chris raises a new baby and new business. Join last years veterans for a great time zipping, or shuffling, around Eldora, followed by fellowship and free coffee provided by the BNC!
Dates: Jan 20, Feb 10, and March 17, and possibly some add-on dates.
The Nitty Gritty: We meet at the Eldora Nordic Center for an informal group ski of all ages, techniques, abilities and speeds then we go to Salto (coffee shop) in Nederland for social time. It is that simple and it is awesome!

About Henry: I’m pretty tall, wear dark clothing including a black puffy if it’s cold, and generally look like I have been skiing since the late Jurassic (eight separate kinds of skiing and a couple of different continents). I like to go fast sometimes and slow sometimes, so I will fill in to be sure that we have groups with a pace for everyone. All are welcome, beginners to racers!
