To be sure, the BNC had a small, ancillary role in the conservation easement of the parcel known as “Tolland.” This small role gave the BNC a back row, not a front row, but a back row seat to the process. Public funding was involved and the land contains significant portions of the nordic trail system operated by Eldora Mountain Resort. The link below goes to the public statement.
